Game v Highland Central Capitals, Part 1

This is the first of two posts, one for each of our opponents' goals. It's a little unfair to present this perspective--our defense and our goalies played a pretty good game--but it will be instructive to show just how close the game really was.

In this first sequence, we see why it's better to have Talon as a teammate than an opponent.


He starts with a clean break away.


He was unopposed down the ice.

It was a fair shot.


I was standing in front of Dave, Talon's dad. He didn't say anything, but he was probably proud of Talon, and we might excuse him for any schadenfreude he might have felt. Nice going, Talon.
